The Chipotle Challenger Series to Bring Two Weeks of PUBG Esports

The Chipotle Challenger Series will be hosting a new event in the renowned mobile esports game PlayerUnknown: Battlegrounds Mobile this summer. It will give the best esports players a shot at its large prize pool of $100,000.

The battle royale event will have eight open qualifiers in total. Everyone will be able to register and try to test their skills. The several qualifiers will test players’ skills, and only the best 24 teams will advance to the next stage. Additional eight teams will be directly invited to Chipotle Challenger Series’ finals.

The first of the eight qualifiers will begin on July 12, and the rest will follow in the next few days. Here is the full schedule:

  • First Qualifier – July 12
  • Second Qualifier – July 13
  • Third Qualifier – July 14
  • Fourth Qualifier – July 15
  • Fifth Qualifier – July 19
  • Sixth Qualifier – July 20
  • Seventh Qualifier – July 21
  • Eighth Qualifier – July 22

The tournament will only admit people who are either from the United States of America or Canada. Those who are interesting in joining can fill up the registration form on Chipotle Challenger Series’ own official website.

Each Event Will Offer Tempting Prizes

The qualifiers will have their own prize pool. Each of the eight will have an equal share, reserved for the four best-performing teams. This includes $2500 and 30,000 PUBG Mobile Unknown Cash. Additionally, Chipotle Challenger Series will present the best teams with a custom CCS-branded headset, processed by the gaming peripherals company ASTRO Gaming.

The grand final on July 25 will have a $65,000 prize pool as well as the tasty prize of a year of free tacos at Chipotle.

Chipotle Challenger Series is a multi-event series that run several competitions each year – usually four tournaments for each season.

For this year, the series had prepared a total of $275,000 in prizes, meaning the PUBG Mobile Chipotle Challenger Series will feature more than half of the year’s total.
