- The program will allow esports players to build their skills in an exchange program

- This will select a player who will go to a special training camp in South Korea
Promising esports players will be able to train abroad thanks to a new program created by the United States Esports Federation and Ghost Gaming.
New Program Announced
With esports being quite an international affair, many up-and-coming players need ways of traveling abroad to build skills and make professional connections. For this reason, the United States Esports Federation (USEF) has partnered with North American esports organization Ghost Gaming to create the International Esports Exchange program.
The new project aims to allow talented players to visit other countries and compete on the international stage. The program will launch with a Tekken tournament taking place at 404 Esports in Atlanta, Georgia, taking place on May 18. With the aid of this competition, the USEF will determine a competitor to represent the United States at the 2024 Global Esports Camp.
Hosted by the Korea Esports Association (KeSPA) in Daejeon City, the Global Esports Camp will take place in late June. The Korean Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism is one of the sponsors of the event, which will offer participants:
- Mentoring and coaching from top Tekken pro players Arslan Ash and Knee
- High-level scrim training with coaching and feedback
- Sessions with esports stars and top coaches covering the current state and future of esports
- Discussion of physical and mental well-being, conducted by experienced professional instructors and South Korean national athletes

Officials Comment on the Project
According to Todd Harris, CEO of Ghost Gaming, this Tekken event is just the beginning of the project. “Ghost Gaming is excited to work with USEF.GG to provide more international exchange opportunities between various countries and esports federations,” he explained. Considering Ghost Gaming already provides platforms to create unique partnerships in sports, music, lifestyle, and entertainment, it’s no wonder they are excited about this project’s new opportunities.

Last, but not least Jorrel Batac, COO of USEF.GG, talked about the work with the Korean government. “It has been exciting to work closely with KeSPA to develop this opportunity, and we look forward to the continued exchange between U.S. and Korean esports athletes,” he explained.
