VCT’s New Streams and Premium Broadcasts
The VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 2 qualifiers are just around the corner. One of the biggest events in Riot’s acclaimed shooter will soon have some of the best teams face off. In order to reach more fans and feature more of the professional games, Riot will be adding three more broadcasts for the event.
They will cover the final day of the qualifiers that airs on April 12 and will be available for audiences in Europe, Turkey, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Additionally, Riot will also host two official “premium broadcasts.” They will cover two games that fans will be able to choose via voting, which will be held by the VALORANT Champions Tour EU. The first game will be voted before the round of 16 and the second before the round of 8.
Fans will be able to see the premium broadcast on Twitch or YouTube.

The Additional Partnered Streams
Furthermore, five partnered streams will be available on April 12 – three for EU fans and two for CIS. They will be held by partner hosts and will feature the best teams based on VLR.gg performance.
Additional partnered streams will showcase some of the most promising matches from the first two days of the qualifiers. They will air in all three regions with five streams for Europe, two for Turkey, and two for CIS.
Teams will be allowed to stream their own matches as well, in case they are not already airing on the premium broadcast.

This year’s VCT Masters in North America had a pretty strong talent lineup. We can excitedly hope the qualifiers and the following season in Europe will reach the same level.
The VCT Stage 2 qualifiers event begins this Saturday, April 10, and will last until Monday 12.
