T1 is reportedly considering getting 100 Thieves’ Johann “seven” Hernandez to its VALORANT roster.

T1 to Get Seven to Its VALORANT Lineup

It is rumored that the esports organization T1 is currently considering signing 100 Thieves substitute player Johann “seven” Hernandez to its VALORANT roster. The news was first shared by the esports news outlet Upcomer, which caught wind of the rumors on December 13.

Seven is a highly skilled player who joined 100 Thieves just after they placed fourth in the last Masters event. However, he has mostly been sitting on the team’s bench as 100 Thieves preferred fielding Aaron “b0i” Thao during the VCT North America Last Chance Qualifier. Seven is yet to have his first game as a member of the thieves, which adds credibility to the rumors of him moving to T1.

Still, T1, 100 Thieves and seven himself are yet to make any announcement and the acquisition is yet to be officialized.

The Organization Might Not Be Done With the Changes

The rumors of seven joining T1 are made even more probable by the fact that the organization has been keen on making crucial acquisitions to its roster in order to boost its performance in the new VCT season.

Furthermore, T1 already acquired one member from 100 Thieves’ lineup, namely Joshua “steel” Nissan. Steel is a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional who was one of 100 Thieves’ ace players. He will now serve as his new organization’s in-game leader.

Acquiring another 100 Thieves member, especially considering the organization’s success during Masters Berlin, is a move that T1 can definitely go for.

The organization isn’t quite over with the changes yet. According to some hearsays, Timothy “Automatic” Ta, one of T1’s current members, has been missing from the organization’s recent practices. This means that the organization might be looking to sign an additional player in his place. Some suggested that the team has been trialing SoaR’s member, Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban and Luminosity Gaming’s member Tanner “TiGG” Spanu. However, Cryocells joining hasn’t been confirmed and TiGG has continued playing with his current team.
