The Biggest VALORANT LAN Tournament Ever
With the VALORANT Masters Berlin around the corner, Riot Games released a short video on Twitter that summarizes everything fans of the game should know about the big event.
The VALORANT Masters' Berlin is the last Masters' event before the VALORANT Champions that will conclude the competitive year. The Berlin-based tournament will take place in the Verti Music Hall and will be the largest LAN event Riot’s shooter has ever had. Fans of esports may know the venue as it has been previously used for the League of Legends World Championship in 2019.
The VALORANT Masters Berlin will begin on September 10 and will continue until September 19. The group play is scheduled between September 10-17 and will be followed by single-elimination bracket playoffs.
Last Chance to Qualify for the VALORANT Champions
In this last Masters, 16 teams will engage in a heated competition over the last precious circuit points and a shot at advancing to the Champions event. The participant teams got into the event through one of the several regional leagues in North America, EMEA, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, Brazil, and LATAM.
The elite esports athletes will first compete in the group stage where they will be separated into four groups to avoid the same region teams meeting right away. The group stage will play by double-elimination rules. The four winners of each group will advance to the playoffs that will adopt a single-elimination style.
The grand final will be played in a best-of-five format, while all other games before it will instead be using a best-of-three approach.
Some of the best esports teams in the world will attend the spectacular event. Here is the lineup:
- Gambit Esports
- SuperMassive Blaze
