  • SicK was arrested on May 8 for alleged criminal trespassing
  • This was previously arrested in March for the same offense
  • Other pros have been saying SicK is going through something and that this is not the real him

Sentinels’ Hunter “SicK” Mims has been acting erratically the past few days, coinciding with him being arrested for criminal trespassing and released a day later.

SicK Is Released from Jail

Professional high-ranking players are not immune from the long arm of the law, as Sentinels’ Hunter “SicK” Mims has been made aware for the second time in three months. The VALORANT pro has recently been released from jail following his second arrested this year for alleged criminal trespassing.

VALORANT journalist George Geddes first broke the news that the player was arrested on May 8 and released on May 9. According to the Collin County judicial records, SicK was arrested for Class B Criminal Trespassing, much the same as his first arrest.

As mentioned, this is the second time that SicK was arrested for similar charges this year. His first bump in with the law was on March 4 following an altercation at a car dealership. The 24-year-old player was charged with criminal trespassing and had a bond on him of $5 000. Sentinels paid for his sister to fly into Dallas to help with his release.

Unfortunately, SicK was once again arrested amid a flurry of worrying posts on social media. During the days before the arrest and even now, the player has been acting erratically online both on Twitter and while live on Twitch. Seemingly streaming under the influence, he appeared with slurred speech and mercurial behavior against his own chat.

This has worried both fans and pros, with former teammates commenting on SicK’s current behavior. “He’s not himself right now, please try your best to ignore his tweets and erratic behavior for now. I promise this isn’t who he is,” wrote former teammate Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan on Twitter.

George Geddes explained that Sentinels have been working closely with SicK and his family in an effort to resolve the player’s issues. The journalist even stated that he has talked before personally with the player and supported other players’ claims that SicK is indeed not acting like himself in recent times.

Unfortunately, whatever Sentinels and other VALORANT pros are doing, it doesn’t seem to get to SicK, as the player continues to Tweet strange things on his account. According to one of his latest posts, SicK seems to not be taking the situation seriously. Let’s hope that his family, friends, and colleagues will be able to knock some sense into him.
