  • TSM has added two new players to its academy League of Legends roster
  • One of them is V1per, a seasoned veteran who will guide the team
  • The other is Instinct, a young talent who seems very promising to TSM’s scouts

TSM adds V1per and Inspired to TSM Academy as the organization heads into the 2022 competitive League of Legends season.

TSM Adds Two New Talents to Its Team

Esports organization Team SoloMid FTX, competing in League of Legends as TSM, has announced two new additions to its Academy roster ahead of the next competitive season. The two new players joining the lineup are Omran “V1per” Shoura and Tony “Instinct” Ng.

V1per will be the seasoned mentor of the team. Boasting five years of experience, he has played with some of the most renowned teams in competitive League of Legends, including Dignitas, Immortals and Team Liquid among others. V1per will be the only member above 21, making him responsible for guiding the rest of the players.

Instinct, on the other hand, is a young 17-years old player whose knack for learning and playing was recognized by TSM’s scouts who believe he can quickly grow into a truly elite athlete.

The full roster of TSM Academy is currently comprised of the following members:

  • Omran “V1per” Shoura – top lane
  • Tony “Instinct” Ng – bottom lane
  • Ji “Takeover” Cha Hyeun-min – mid lane
  • Young “Hyper” Seo – jungle
  • Wang “Yursan” Sheng-Yu – support

The Organization is Excited About the Next Season

TSM is excited about the new additions to its roster. In the official announcement, the team commented about their hopes for V1per and Instinct.

The organization explained that the former player is very talented and experienced, which would make a fine addition to any team. TSM believes that his proven skill will be a strong foundation for the development of the other players.

“We’re excited to see him bring a new perspective to a team of young players,” TSM said.

TSM added that Instinct is a fast learner and is very promising. The team believes that the young athlete will see a fast skill acquisition during 2022.

The former rendition of TSM’s Academy team didn’t manage to perform great in the 2021 competitive season but the organization is optimistic about the two new players.

TSM fans are just as excited to see if the team manages to replicate the success of TSM’s main League of Legends team. Although the mainline team didn’t have a presence at Worlds, it did manage to finish within the top three spots of quite a few events throughout 2021.

TSM has a history of Academy players graduating into the broader competitive LoL scene. The team recently re-acquired former academy member Tactical, now as a part of its main team.
