  • TSM FTX is saying goodbye to its Indian PUBG Mobile team
  • The organization didn’t reveal exact detail about why it is parting ways with the roster
  • TSM will be prolonging its presence in India, although it is not yet confirmed if it will be signing a new PUBG Mobile roster

Team SoloMid FTX has mutually parted ways with its Indian PUBG Mobile roster, which will be “pursuing a new challenge.”

Saying Goodbye to the Team

Team SoloMid FTX has decided to, in the organization’s words, “mutually part ways” with its Indian PlayerUnknown’s Battleground Mobile team. According to the announcement by the esports organization, the players will be pursuing a new challenge.

Additional details were not revealed, but it would seem that the former TSM PUBG Mobile players have found a new opportunity. The organization thanked its former allies for their time together and wished them all the best in their future endeavors.

TSM FTX’s PUBG Mobile roster in question was comprised of the following members:

  • Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare
  • Abhishek “ZGOD” Choudhary
  • Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral
  • Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar
  • Vivek “ClutchGod” Horo

TSM FTX’s Plans for India

TSM FTX is definitely not leaving India anytime soon. According to a statement from the organization, it plans to continue its presence on the Indian esports market as it truly believes in its potential. TSM added that it has seen a tremendous amount of support in the country and would like to continue living up to the Indian fans’ expectations.

Team SoloMid is in India since spring 2020, when it collaborated with Entity Gaming to sign the aforementioned roster. The team was among the top team around and had placed high in numerous local events. The roster went dormant when PUBG Mobile was banned in the country and didn’t return even after the game was released as Battlegrounds Mobile India

It is unknown if TSM FTX will be signing a new PUBG Mobile roster in the country or if it will turn its attention to other titles. If the organization is planning to do so, it should make haste as one of the biggest Indian PUBG Mobile events will be coming soon.

TSM currently fields a Garena Free Fire team in India, which it acquired only recently. Since signing one of the biggest and most expensive deals in esports history with FTX, the organization has been looking to expand its global reach. Because of this, it is unlikely that TSM will simply forgo participating in the Indian PUBG Mobile scene, especially considering how popular it is.
