  • Team Liquid is rebuilding its CS:GO roster for the 2022 season
  • New additions include the 22-year-old include AWPer oSee
  • He comes into the team after spending a year competing for Extra Salt

Team Liquid’s roster for the CS:GO 2022 competitive season is starting to take shape with the recent addition of one of the best tier-two North American CS:GO players of 2021.

OSee Is Now TL’s New AWPer

Team Liquid is one step closer to completing their lineup for the 2022 CS:GO season. The organization recently signed the 22-year-old North American player Joshua “oSee” Ohm, thus acquiring one of the best snipers in the field. This addition should help Team Liquid recover from what was a bumpy 2021 season for them. Not long ago, the organization parted ways with Stewie2k, FalleN, and Grim. Stewie2K is expected to join Evil Geniuses while the fates of both FalleN and Grim are unclear.

Despite his young age, oSee is a CS:GO veteran and will be joining Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski, an amazing rifler himself, as well as lurker Keith “NAF” Markovic, who recently renewed his contract with Team Liquid.  OSee is one of the best players from the North American tier two circuit. In 2021 he had an overall HLTV rating of 1.29 with a similar impact rating.  Playing for Extra Salt, he helped the team win at multiple DreamHack Open tournaments, and ESEA Cash Cups. His contribution even helped ES go through the ESL Pro League Conference Season 15.

Team Liquid’s Plans for the Next Season

The team held their ground against some of the best teams in the world but unfortunately had an anti-climatic end to its 2021 season. The team hopes that by signing oSee, one of the best AWPers in the field, they can turn their fates in the next season. There were long-lasting rumors that Team Liquid has had their sights set on the young player, and with a recent transfer these turned out to be true.

Former rifler/IGL Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella and French veteran Richard “shox” Papillon are two other players associated with Liquid’s roster. The former used to play for TL, but left the organization in favor of 100 Thieves and VALORANT in August 2020. However, he left 100T last month amongst rumors he is considering returning to CS:GO and Team Liquid. Regarding shox, he recently left Team Vitality after spending over two years with the organization.

Team liquid went through a lot of restructuring in the past few months. They still have time until their next scheduled event, the IEM Katowice, which begins on February 15, but they should use it wisely in order for oSee to get well integrated into the roster.
