- Streamlabs has unveiled Streamlabs Studio – a new solution for Xbox streamers
- Streamlabs Studio will allow console content creators to broadcast their experience easily against a $4.99 monthly subscription
- The studio will have all the necessary quality-of-life features needed for a memorable streaming experience
Streamlabs Studio is a new solution by Streamlabs that will allow Xbox content creators to stream their experience directly to Twitch.
Streamlabs Studios Will Help Xbox Streamers Out
Streaming software, alerts, donations, sponsorship opportunities and stream overlays provider, Streamlabs, will be collaborating with the streaming giant Twitch to create a web-based broadcasting studio for console streamers. The endeavor comes in celebration of Xbox’s 20th anniversary.
The new solution will go by the name Streamlabs Studio and will have the goal of providing Xbox creators with a reliable way to stream their experience without the need for a capture card or any other third-party software. Content creators can easily use Streamlabs Studio from the Twitch app on their console.
Streamlabs Studio will have direct webcam support and will also allow content creators to customize their streams from a mobile device, without needing a capture device. This has all been made possible by Streamlabs Studio’s cloud capture.
Furthermore, Streamlabs Studio will provide a variety of quality-of-life features, such as overlays, chats and alerts that console streamers can implement to their streams. The new solution will be able to detect audio from both headsets and external devices. On top of that, users can set up their mobile devices and tablets as makeshift webcams.
Streamlabs Studio Will be a Twitch-Exclusive Subscription-Based Feature
Ashray Urs, head of product at Streamlabs, spoke about the new offering. He explained that streaming is all about viewers receiving unprecedented access to their favorite creators. The “live” aspect of this helps the engagement as it allows people to communicate in the chat and “create incredible shared experiences.”
However, until now, professional broadcasts and viewer engagement from a console have been a challenging undertaking, Urs pointed out.
“With Streamlabs Studio, you can transform console gameplay into a high-quality live stream production with viewer engagement tools to interact with your community,” Urs said.
Because of the partnership, Streamlabs Studio will only be compatible with Twitch. It will be a subscription-based service, available for $4.99 per month. Alternatively, streamers can save some money by taking the annual package which costs $49.99.
Although Twitch keeps on having to deal with customer disgruntlement, the platform remains as the leading streaming service. Therefore, the new Xbox solution by Streamlabs will be a huge boon to any Xbox lovers.
