Logan Paul Would Fight Andrew Tate on One Specific Condition

in Streamers
November 2, 2022
  • Andrew Tate has long been taunting Logan Paul for a fight
  • Paul has often declined Tate’s invitations, saying he would “not perform”
  • However, Paul recently said he would fight on one condition

We might soon see two controversial online celebrities duke it out in an MMA fight in the octagon.

Logan Paul Puts Out a Condition

Online celebrity sports fights have become quite a popular event and controversial Youtuber, turned internet sensation, Logan Paul knows this very well. The star already has a few boxing matches against another popular Youtuber, KSI, as well as against retired boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. It now appears that we might see the online celebrity fight against another, perhaps way more controversial one – influencer and former kickboxer Andrew Tate.

Tate has been calling out Paul for an MMA fight many times over the past few months, but the latter has always declined the invitation, stating that he didn’t want to “platform” Tate in exchange for a fight. However, in recent weeks, Paul has been warming up to the idea, saying he is now open to a clash but on a few specific conditions.

In a recent episode of the TimboSugarShow podcast, Logan Paul appeared in front of Sean O’Malley to be interviewed by the UFC star and his co-host on whether he’d face Tate. Considering both Paul and Tate are similar in size, and have some kind of “beef” between them, many think an MMA match would be an entertaining way to settle the score.

“I think people misunderstood what to us was very clearly satire and sarcasm as like a respect or liking to Tate,” Paul said during the podcast. “Bro, I have never liked Tate. I find him amusing, the same way you find a clown amusing.”

After the hard words, Paul finally called out Tate for a fight, stating that an MMA match would be the condition on which he will fight the controversial influencer. “Why don’t we do something that both of us have never done? Clean record. 0 and 0. Let us step into the f**king octagon, brother. An MMA fight, me versus Tate in the UFC. You think Dana would put that on?” Paul said.

Tate Accepts the Challenge

Logan Paul’s words during the TimboSugarShow podcast were what Andrew Tate wanted to hear. Although the 35-year-old has not won a title in K1 or Glory, he has still achieved a lot in his career and is therefore eager to get back in the octagon against Logan Paul.

“If the terms are fair to both parties, I will fight Logan in the cage and destroy him. I have already contacted and confirmed this to a mutual contact,” Tate said in a recent interview for The Mirror. He had some more harsh words to say about his potential future opponent, also describing him as a “clown”.

“I promised I would fight him for free, and I meant it,” Tate added. “He can fly to Romania and knock on my door any day of the week. When I said fight, I didn’t mean sport. If he recovers, he can continue to live in his brother’s shadow where he belongs.”

It is not known when the fight will take place if it even does so. But it seems that both controversial celebrities have already thrown the gauntlet.
