FaZe Clan streamer Kalei is angry as she got banned from Twitch after supposedly posting explicit content in a chat.
Kalei Becomes a Subject of a Supposedly Unfair Ban
FaZe Clan content creator Kalei is infuriated after Twitch has banned her for what it considers to be “suggestive conduct”. Kalei is baffled by the claim and released an angry response where she addressed the decision.
The ban happened yesterday, October 13. As bans and the reasons behind them aren’t usually announced to the public, Kalei shared a screenshot of the message from Twitch. According to the streaming platform, Kalei’s stream has contained sexually suggestive behavior, content or commentary.
Kalei couldn’t believe this and angrily accused Twitch employees of being under the influence of drugs.
“ALL I WEAR IS OVERSIZED HOODIES AND SHIRTS. THE ONLY TIME I DONT IS BECAUSE I GOT A TATTOO ON MY COLLARBONE AND THATS SOMEHOW SEXUAL?????,” Her Twitch rant reads.
However, Kalei’s tattoo might not actually be the case for the ban. The screenshot ends with a “where the violation occurred” section that shows the reason for the community guidelines strike lies in a public or a private chat message.
Kalei Will Miss Important Events Because of the Restrictions
No matter the reason, FaZe Clan’s streamer is beyond angry with Twitch. She believes that this is completely unfair as it will have her miss a sponsored stream and tournament.
“It’s literally 5am at twitch headquarters and i just have to sit here wondering what i did, bc they won’t answer emails because they literally don’t tell you what you said or did. 3 days probably over a false strike. Love my life honestly,” Kalei said in the comments.
She released a few more tweets on her boredom, caused by the Twitch ban.
Kalei has worked as a content creator for years. This year she took her career a step further by becoming a part of the infamous gaming and esports organization FaZe Clan. Kalei is currently the sole female streamer to have ever worked under FaZe’s banner. In 2021 Kalei’s viewership has more than doubled up.
Twitch’s policies are sometimes extremely strict. Yet, Kalei’s content definitely isn’t sexualized, especially in comparison to other content on Twitch, which has been pointed out by her followers. This is the streamer’s first ban and, hopefully for fans, the last.
