FaZe Clan Nickmercs Unveils MFAM Gauntlet Apex Tournament

  • The MFAM Gauntlet will take place in late October and will have two qualifiers followed by the main event
  • The best teams will get a share of the $50,000 prize pool prepared by the organizer

Prominent FaZe member Nickmercs will be hosting the MFAM Gauntlet – an Apex Legends Event with $50,000 for the taking.

Nickmercs Announces Yet another Event

Famous FaZe Clan member Nicholas “Nickmercs” Kolcheff has announced that he will be hosting an Apex Legends event by the name MFAM (Mercs Family) Gauntlet. The tournament will have a tempting $50,000 prize pool.

Nickmercs is planning to host the event in October, with its entirety taking place within the next few days.

The Nickmercs MFAM Gauntlet will begin with two qualifiers that precede the main event. The qualifiers will be where the best Apex Legends players will prove their mettle before advancing to the later stages. The first qualifier will take place tomorrow, October 22. It will be followed by a second qualifier on October 26 andthe main event on October 27.

Nickmercs and his team explained that the latter two dates may be subject to change.

MFAM Gauntlet’s Format and Prizes

The qualifier will take place across four private lobbies and a total of 80 teams – 20 for each lobby. Each team will play three games before the standings are revealed. The five best teams from each lobby will then advance to the second round where they will play two games among themselves. The top 2 teams will proceed to the main Nickmercs MFAM Gauntlet event.

The best-performing team from the qualifier will get a $4,750 share from the prize pool and will advance to the main tournament. The other teams that rank among the 10 best will all get some prizes that range between $2,400 for the second place and $150 for the sixth to tenth place.

The rating of a team will be determined by both that team’s place in the standings and its total number of kills. Each kill will add up to a team’s performance, urging players to actively participate in the shootouts for extra points.

Teams who wish to partake in the event must be subscribed to Nickmercs.

Nickmercs is a prominent gaming figure with a true passion for gaming. He has a strong presence on Twitch and is often hosting MFAM events for his community. The tournaments present a unique opportunity for Nickmercs’ followers as they let them shine on the esports scene and be rewarded for it.
