In a recent stream, Asmongold explains to his fans the reason why he refuses to go on World of Warcraft raids with random players.
Asmongold’s Opinions on Raiding Has Changed
Asmongold is one of the most popular faces of WoW Twitch, being a staple on the platform for many years. That being said he does not limit himself only to World of Warcraft. Recently he has been spending a lot of time in Amazon’s New World. Despite his recent adventures in the new MMO, Asmongold has stated he does not plan on abandoning WoW anytime soon and remains vocal about it.
However, while he was enjoying gathering wood in Aeternum, he was asked by a viewer whether he’s planning to do any World of Warcraft raids anytime soon in World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic.
Asmongold said that he does not plan on doing something like this because he does not have a guild. He explained he would not go to raids unless he has his own guild, because he does not enjoy raiding along with random players. He said they make him “mad”.
The Streamer Explains in Detail Why He Does Not Like Raiding with Random Players
Asmongold has always seemed very laconic when voicing his opinions, be they on games or people.
“I get so mad whenever people don’t do what I want them to do,” he said in his stream. He explained that this is not because he expects everyone to perform on a super high level and everyone needs to reach that.
He elaborated that his feelings of frustration exist because he wants things to play out the way he wants, even if it makes him “feel like an a**hole.”
“I want things to go exactly the way I want them to go,” he said, adding that if they don’t, he simply would not have a great time. He said that knowing himself he frequently thinks “maybe I should just not do it and save everybody the headache, and that will be it.”
It seems his fans will not be able to go on WoW raids with their favorite streamer anytime soon. However, as Asmongold said, one can extrapolate that in the event the streamer joins a guild, then maybe he would be a lot more open on raiding with other players.
