Vel’Koz, Blitzcrank, and Veigar, will receive bee-themed skins which are aptly named Bee’Koz, Beezcrank, and King Beegar, and will cost 1350 VP each.
New Bees Are Entering the Hive
Riot Games is quite popular for releasing many different series of skins for the champions of League of Legends regularly. These come in various themes, be they sci-fi, creepy, bad-ass, or just cute ones. Whatever the case, there is always some theme that would catch the eye of almost every fan out there as the skins cater to different tastes.
That being said, there are some skins that just look like a joke, making them quite beloved by fans and the Bee skin series fits perfectly well into that category. The skin line, which can trace its inception back to a goofy beekeeper skin for Singed from 2017, became quite famous because of how goofy the idea of LoL champs dressed in bees is. This is why the Bee skins are some of the most sought-after cosmetics in the game.
Due it this, Riot Games announced on November 7 that the line will be getting a rerun soon. Not only that but more champions have been added to the extensive list – Vel’Koz, Blitzcrank, and Veigar. These skins are all reportedly going to fall under the Epic skins tier, meaning that fans would have to pay a hefty 1350 RP for every single one of them.
The new skins are already available on the PBE server, so the most eager fans can go and test them out there. Otherwise, they will come to the full game with LoL’s Patch 13.23, which is scheduled for release on Wednesday, November 22. However, note that skins usually take a day to become available to a client, so the Bee skins will likely be able to be picked up on November 23 instead.
With this, the three champions, whom Riot called Bee’Koz, Beezcrank, and King Beegar in a short video showcasing the characters’ animations, will join the already existing eight that make up the funny skin lineup. These are (note that Singe does not feature in this list as he is technically the beekeeper):
