  • The player was recently spotted playing for the organization at an online event
  • It has been rumored for a few days that he might be joining the organization officially
  • Some other factors, including a leak by the player himself, might point to him joining soon

Pure has been spotted playing for Tundra at the DreamLeague Season 22: Western Europe (WEU) Open Qualifier, pouring more fuel into the rumors.

Pure Took On the Carry Role

Tundra Esports has been busy the past few weeks in rebuilding its Dota 2 roster and currently, the organization still needs one more player to complete its lineup. However, this poses a problem as the DreamLeague Season 22: Western Europe (WEU) Open Qualifier #1, in which Tundra takes place, has already started. Yet the organization was seen participating in it despite, on paper, having just four players in its lineup.

However, Tundra was seen participating in the online event with Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko. Thanks to his work on the carry position, the organization won against Flawless and 5STARS Esports to secure its spot in the semifinals. Tundra’s next opponent will be Nightshade Esports, against whom the organization will go up later today.

Perhaps it should not be too surprising that the young Russian player is part of Tundra’s current roster, even though it has not yet officially been announced that he joined the team. There have been rumors of who will join Tundra next over the past few days and Pure was amongst the names mentioned often. Considering another Tundra player, MinD_ContRoL, was signed on Monday and was also rumored to join the team before that, it would not be surprising if it is soon announced that Pure is the team’s fifth player.

More Things Support the Theory

There are a few more things that suggest Pure will be joining Tundra soon, aside from the fact he was spotted playing with them at the DreamLeague Season 22: Western Europe (WEU) Open Qualifier #1. First of all, he has been put on BetBoom Team’s inactive roster since late December, so he is technically eligible for transfer.

But also, according to the player himself, he might soon be leaving the CIS region. In a recent stream, Pure was quoted as saying this: “The strongest CIS players, who? Name the strongest CIS players except Team Spirit. Antokha dyrachyo is on the spot. Then me, of course. Well, I’m like, no longer CIS, of course, oh, [damn].” The transcript and translation have been provided by cybersport.ru.

With all of this in mind, it would not be surprising to soon see an official announcement from Tundra that the young player has joined their ranks. Stay tuned for more information.
