PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India are back on Galaxy Racer's priorities with two new rosters announced.
Galaxy Racer Enters PUBG Mobile and BGMI in Full Force
Galaxy Racer, a Dubai esports organization, has expanded into PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India, the two versions of the popular battleground royal game tailored for the global and Indian market, respectively. The PUBG Mobile roster will compete in the ME region, whereas the BGMI team will participate in the self-contained Indian ecosystem.
Instead of looking for players that are brand new to the game, Galaxy Racer has decided to tap the former Gunz Esports roster for its Middle East forays. The team ended as the runner-ups in the EMEA Championship and won the inaugural Pro League Arabia season. The five team members are:
- Raouf “RAOUF” Abdellah
- Maad Ali “HixYE” Ashkar
- Reshar “FREAK” Dawid
- Muslim Ahmed “Lord”
- Jawad Mohammed “Hamody” Qassim
In India, Galaxy Racer will compete with a proven set of players who are keen to prove their mettle. The five men joining the Indian Battlegrounds Fray include:
- Harshit “MJ” Mahajan
- Yogesh “RoXX” Yadav
- Hemanth “Ultron” Sethi
- Mohammed “Owais” Lakhani
- Akash “MaxKasH” Anandani
The BGMI team has already been competing under the Galaxy Racer's banner and had to be temporarily moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2020 following the suspension of PUBG Mobile India. With the return of the customized version, however, Galaxy is welcoming the opportunity to be represented in India once again.
The team will compete in the $135,000 BGMI Series, which will be taking place later next week.
