After a quick 2-0 sweep, PSG.LGD has become the fourth Chinese and last team to qualify for the One Esports Singapore Major.

PSG.LGD Becomes Last Team to Qualify for Singapore Major 2021

Paris Saint-Germain will continue to the first Dota Pro Circuit event this year, with the ONE Esports Singapore Major taking place on March 27. PSG.LGD’s Dota 2 squad fought a deciding game versus Elephant, delivering a blow to the team’s own hopes of making the cut this Sunday.

The victory for PSG.LGD is an important one as the franchise is ready to get back into competitive Dota 2 amid attempts to normalize the circuit once again. However, ONE Esports has already confirmed that no live audiences would be allowed to attend.

PSG.LGD secured two straight victories, albeit it took some time to get there. In Game 1, the squad took its sweet time and dragged the game through to the 43-minute mark while applying pressure but not looking to bring the game home before then.

In Game 2, PSG.LGD decided to pick up the pace and pressured Elephant’s Ursa, scoring three kills in under seven minutes against Elephant and kicking up the entire gameplay a notch so that their opponents were barely able to stay afloat. From the 20-minute mark onwards, the game proved definitively one-sided as Elephant kept losing team fights that led to the final score ending 2-0 in favor of PSG.

With this victory, PSG.LGD is the fourth Chinese team to make the cut to the ONE Esports Singapore Major. Fellow Dota 2 squads Vici Gaming, Invictus Gaming, and Team Aster are all heading to the big event that will be taking place from March 27 through April 4.

There are $500,000 and 2,700 DPC points on the line for the taking. The Wild Card will have six of some of the best teams in the world, but only two can progress to the Group Stage, making the action on March 27 – 28 a must-see.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
