  • Esports organization OG has signed in a new roster for VALORANT Stage 3
  • The Monkey Business roster OG originally signed didn’t live up to the expectations
  • OG’s VALORANT team will now be receiving three new members and a new coach

OG will add three new players to its VALORANT roster as the organization aims to boost its winning potential before VALORANT’s third stage. A new head coach has also joined the team.

OG Reworks Its VALORANT Team

Esports organization OG is currently not only working on a restructuring of its Dota 2 roster but on its VALORANT team as well. The organization just revealed its new and enhanced roster, which will represent OG during the VALORANT Champions Tour’s third stage

The team OG originally fielded was the Monkey Business lineup which did amazingly during the first stage of the Champions Tour. However, in the second stage, Monkey Business failed to live up to the impression they had left in the first one.

This led OG to think about rearranging the team and making some changes in order to boost its performance.

Benjamin “uNKOE” Chevasson and Kevyn “TviQ” Lindström will remain on the team. Their new teammates will be the familiar Harry “DPS” MacGill, whom the team played with during VCT’s second stage, as well as two new members: Tomas “Destrain” Linikas and Nikita “trexx” Cherednichenko.

Destrain and trexx are former members of the HONK roster, which performed impressively during the stage two qualifiers but disbanded soon after. In their official announcement, OG described the two new additions as “two youngsters eager to win” who are going to “energize OG’s troops.”

A New Coach for the New Roster

OG will also be taking in Tanishq “Tanizhq” Sabharwal as the revised VALORANT team’s new head coach. Tanizhq is a former VALORANT champion in Europe who has also coached Team Heretics.

UNKOE is excited by the new members. He is looking forward to playing with them and is optimistic about where OG can go with their help.

“I’m thrilled to have DPS, Destrian, and trexx joining this team. They are three exceptional players who complete the criteria that TviQ and I wanted for this project. I have no doubt we will do great things together and represent OG the best we can.”

The lineup will have time to train its team play for about two weeks before it tests its mettle on the field – OG’s updated VALORANT squad will participate in the VCT’s third stage, which starts on June 28.

OG’s Dota 2 roster had some struggles in recent times. OG fans can cross their fingers that the VALORANT roster will reclaim the organization’s honor.
