  • T1 have announced they have signed a new player from North America
  • Rossy has played for the likes of FaZed Clan and TSM
  • He was crucial in Turtke Troop’s performance during the 2023 season

South Korean esports organization T1 are expanding their VALORANT roster by bringing aboard more NA talent, such as 20-year-old Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo.

T1 Sign Rossy

We are well into the VALORANT off-season for 2023-2024 and organizations are busy restructuring their rosters in preparation for what’s to come next. During this time, we have already seen some interesting transfers, including a lack of movement from the world champions, as well as American players signing to Pacific teams.

To add to this confusion, T1 is doing their part by signing many more players than they might initially seem to need. The South Korean organization currently hoists seven players, the last one of which they announced earlier today. He is young American prodigy Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo of Turtle Troop, FaZe Clan, and TSM fame. With this last addition, T1 will have quite a lot of players to experiment with in the upcoming competitive VALORANT season.

Rossy Is Quite Experienced

Despite being only 20 years of age, Rossy has already garnered quite a portfolio of achievements under his belt. He has been around the NA VALORANT scene since 2021 and has made his name famous thanks to his play on initiators like Breach and KAY/O. Rossy has made it to the top tier in North America twice and when franchising came along, he remained with FaZe Clan before eventually joining the unsigned team Turtle Troop as they looked to keep up an underdog 2023 season in NA Challengers.

During the year, Rossy’s performance helped the team win a spot for 2024, however, he will not be there to share the experience. Instead, he accepted the offer from T1, which will grant the player a whole new world of possibilities in competitive VALORANT.

T1 definitely puts a lot of fait on the talent of NA players as Rossy is not the only pro from the region whom the organization has signed. T1 has also brought in Joseph “ban” Seungmin Oh, who played for the team during the 2023 season. In addition to that, T1 also has many players who have experience playing with NA players – Ha “Sayaplayer” Jung-woo, Lee “Carpe” Jae-hyeok, and Son “xeta” Seon-ho.

Although a lot of T1’s players have experience on the NA scene as well as playing with an American during this year, communication between them and Rossy might still be a problem. However, this, like the player’s performance in the new field, remains to be seen.
