  • StreamElements will run a 2021 edition of its Creator Diversity Program
  • The program aims to help streamers from underrepresented groups succeed in the highly competitive market
  • 15 lucky streamers will be selected and will enjoy a range of benefits and learning materials

StreamElements is launching the second edition of its Creator Diversity Program and will guide 15 streamers from underrepresented groups to success.

The Program’s 2021 Edition Gets Announced

StreamElements, a leading platform for live streaming on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook gaming, has launched the second edition of its creator diversity initiative with marginalized groups in mind.

The Creator Diversity Program is being brought back as a sign of goodwill from StreamElements to its community and a dedication to making streaming as a whole more accessible and inclusive to people from all backgrounds.

This year’s edition of the program will see StreamElements provide 15 chosen content creators from underrepresented groups with equipment, mentorship, support, and livestreaming services. This year’s edition will be managed by Kacie Harold and will build on the 2020 CDP.

Harold spoke on the program and its aims:

“The Creator Diversity Program was inspired by the adversity many marginalized groups face in the games and livestreaming industry such as harassment and limited access to guidance, gear, and support.”

She explained that providing professional tools, services and mentorship will build a strong foundation for the participants’ future and will help them to distinguish themselves in the highly competitive streaming industry.

Applying for the Program

Everyone who qualifies for the Creator Diversity Program can apply for it. There are some prerequisites, of course. First of all, the applicant must originate from an underrepresented group, which includes women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities. All applicants must be adults and have to be active streamers on one of StreamElements’ supported platforms: Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook Gaming.

The program will begin on November 30. The fifteen lucky candidates who get approved will gain access to numerous benefits. They will get added to a private Discord server and will have access to a dedicated Creator Success manager. The participants will be invited to monthly lectures and workshops where they can meet and learn directly from seasoned industry professionals.

Each of the participants will get a cutting-edge Razer-branded mic and camera to boost the quality of their streams. Additionally, the fifteen streamers will get various monetary rewards. One of them is a $1,500 Amazon gift card for streaming equipment. Furthermore, an additional $2,500 will be given to streamers to help them find artists to make custom arts, animations, emotes, intro videos, and brand logos for their channels. Lastly, each of the program participants will get $1,000 to cover video editing expenses.

People who are interested can apply until October 22. The 15 approved candidates will be announced on November 10. The program is expected to last for almost a year until the next October.

From our 5 star review…

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
