  • The South Korean organization has shown interest in the growing Rainbow Six Siege esports scene
  • Team ohHamMa will represent the organization in the game
  • Interest in Rainbow Six Siege continues growing in the Asia-Pacific region

Rainbow Six Siege continues its growth in Asia as T1 organization joins the competition with team ohHamMa.

Team OhHamMa will Fight for T1

T1 is a big esports organization in South Korea. It has partaken in numerous tournaments in League of Legends and StarCraft, and its team has scored several victories. Now the organization seeks to expand into Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege as well.

The team that will represent T1 on the competitive scene is team OhHamMa. The team recently scored third in the regular R6 season and the finals of the Korean Winter Open 2020, which surely earned them T1’s favor.

OhHamMa’s five members are Lim “Yeti” Hun-sung, Kim “Demic” Daeyeong, Cha “iLeven” Wonil, Kang “Vamos” Sang-eun, and Kim “r3plicA” Jeong-woo. The teammates will be supported by three coaches, who will include Junyoung “Revi” Shin, Hyunwoo “Howard” Jeong, and Varun “VBM” Bir Mohindra.

Rainbow Six Siege Continues to Rise in Popularity in APAC

T1 is not the first Asia-Pacific organization seeking to establish a foothold in the growing Rainbow Six Siege scene, though. Because of the cheaper teams and the R6 Share, granting players discounts for in-game cosmetics, other organizations have had the same ideas. Danwon Gaming also got an R6 team to join in the competition. Other organizations such as DWG KIA, GC Busan Spear, Fnatic, Cloud0, and CYCLOPS Athlete Gaming already have teams to represent them.

The Asia-Pacific League North Division will continue on March 18 and will see some of the aforementioned teams strive for the tempting prize pool of $70,000.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
