  • TSM FTX is back to the competitive PUBG Mobile India scene shortly after it left it earlier this week
  • The team has signed five new players to represent it in the upcoming $135,000 Battlegrounds Mobile India Series
  • There has been no mention of Entity Gaming, TSM’s former partner in the country

After an abrupt decision to drop its PUBG Mobile team in India, TSM FTX has appointed five new players to represent it in the country.

TSM FTX Taps New PUBG Mobile Talent

TSM FTX has announced a new PUBG Mobile which will compete in India following the arrival of the overhauled version of the game, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The game was released recently after qualms about data security brought on by Indian authorities, which prompted Krafton, the official distributor in India, to create a contained version of the game that is based in the country exclusively.

As such, other markets are off-limits, but this is far from a blow to the competitive PUBG ecosystem in the country as Battlegrounds Mobile India has already achieved over 34 million registered users. This has given TSM FTX all the motivation the organization needs to pursue competitive forays in India. This comes only days after TSM broke ties off with its former roster.

Harsh “AquaNox” Rao, Shubham “Ninja” Sahoo, Hamza “Blaze” Hyderabwala, and Arjun “Shadow” Mandhalkar will represent TSM FTX in any upcoming competitive events in India with BGMI drawing a lot of eyeballs and exciting interest among other top-tier esports teams.

The first event the team will compete in is the $135,000 Battlegrounds Mobile India Series with qualifiers beginning as early as next week and TSM being one of 32 invited organizations to join the third round of online qualifiers. Previously, TSM operated in India with Entity Gaming, but the latter is absent of the present partnership, following FTX’s generous offer to buy the naming rights for the team that was originally known as Team SoloMid but will now bear the FTX signage for ten years.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
