The first season of the PMPL Championship in South Asia has been rescheduled for June.

A Last-Moment Delay Sets the Event for June

The PlayerUnknown’s Battleground Mobile Pro League South Asia Championship has been postponed. This was announced by Tencent on the official PUBG Mobile Esports Instagram.

The announcement came in the last possible moment on Thursday, May 13 – the day the tournament was originally planned for. Instead, fans were informed that the event will be rescheduled for June 10 to 13.

Tencent didn’t will to talk about the details behind the delay. The company is also yet to reveal other crucial details, such as the tournament’s format and prize pool.

The qualified teams origin from a wide variety of South Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. They will now have an additional month to prepare for the postponed event.
