  • The “feeling of home” Myth loved about TSM is now gone the streamer said in a video
  • His departure was partly motivated by the departure of beloved people within the organization
  • Myth will surely have no shortage of excellent opportunities moving forward as there are numerous orgs waiting to snap him up

Myth, a popular Fortnite and Valorant content creator for Team SoloMid, is leaving as he wants to feel fulfilled at the job and this is no longer the case with the org.

Myth Announces Retirement from TSM as He Pursues New Opportunities

Team SoloMid content creator Ali “Myth” Kabbani has confirmed in a new video that he is stepping down from his position within the organization. The video was shared both by him and TSM and in it, Myth confirmed that he had decided not to extend his current contract with the organization.

Myth spoke that the sense of belonging and family had left him and he did not feel inspired to continue working for TSM. The departures of former TSM president Leena Xu and the team’s League of Legends player, Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg, have both contributed to his decision to no longer be a part of the famed organization created in 2009 as a little more than a League of Legends discussion board.

Myth also expressed his own frustration, arguing that the organization had been misusing him by not letting him in on a number of content initiatives. “It’s been a good run,” Myth said tersely, sharing the tweet from TSM.

Moving forward, Myth would be interested in continuing doing what he loves, i.e. creating content, but within an organization that allows him to put himself in “more comfortable situations.”

Many Organizations Would Be Happy to Have Myth as Content Creator

There is a whole lot of organizations out there that may suit him better if Myth is really down for the job.

FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves are two great ideas, as both esports franchises have explored the value of not just competitive gaming, but also content creation. NRG, another popular esports organization, already hosts former TSM creators such as Daequan and Hamlinz, and then there are other streaming opportunities that are not necessarily related to competitive gaming.

Myth is himself a Fortnite content creator and retired player, but he gradually decided to rededicate his time away from Fortnite to Valorant over 2020 and 2021. Myth will definitely be sought by organizations who want to establish their name as he currently has 4.6 million followers on YouTube Gaming, 7.4 million followers on Twitch, and 2.5 million followers on Twitter.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
