Cloud Gaming Coming to Xbox

Good news for Xbox lovers – Microsoft has announced that its cloud gaming services will be expanding to cover Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The feature will be implemented near the holidays before the end of 2021. Microsoft made an exciting announcement during the Xbox Gamescom 2021 event.

Microsoft’s cloud gaming will make an assortment of over 100 games that Xbox users can access if they have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The library includes a selection of both popular AAA titles, as well as indie games by small developers.

The Xbox cloud gaming has been thoughtfully tested and Microsoft assures gamers that they will get a premium 1080p, 60fps experience.

What Can Fans Expect?

Cloud gaming is a feature that allows gamers to play games without having to download them. It’s a revolutionary concept that is especially beneficial to people with older machines who want to play newer titles or to people that play a lot of games and don’t have enough gigabytes of memory to store all of them.

The Xbox Cloud Gaming is currently available for PC, mobile phones, and tablets and will now include the Xbox consoles as well. This addition will be highly beneficial to ardent Xbox lovers as they will get to flawlessly play newer titles on the older Xbox One console.

The service is a kind addition as it may limit Xbox Series X/S sales for the sake of providing satisfaction and quality experience to a wider audience.

According to Microsoft, testing of the Xbox cloud gaming for consoles will begin this autumn. Xbox Insider members will be able to try out the service and report any flaws or bugs if such exist. This will largely help to fail-proof the product before releasing it to the general market around the holidays.

When cloud gaming goes live games that support it will be marked with a small icon with a cloud next to their title. Members of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be prompted to either play on the cloud or download the game.
