  • TNC Predator has parted ways with yet another member from its Dota 2 lineup
  • Ejay “PlayHard” Banquil was removed from the organization just a few weeks after TNC dismissed Lee “X1aOyU” Qian Yu
  • TNC Predator will take its time to decide who its two new members will be

TNC Predator has said goodbye to PlayHard as the window in which Dota 2 teams can remove players came to an end.

TNC Predator Said Goodbye to PlayHard

Yesterday was the last day in which professional Dota 2 teams were allowed to remove players from their rosters. The Southeast Asian esports organization TNC Predator has grabbed this opportunity to make one final change by removing Ejay “PlayHard” Banquil from the team.

This is the second player TNC Predator has dismissed in February. At the beginning of the month, the esports organization sent off its offlaner Lee “X1aOyU” Qian Yu. The organization has yet to find replacements for the two players it relieved from duty.

PlayHard is a former Neon Esports player who has had a fair share of successes. Thanks to his feats as a part of Neon Esports, he attracted the attention of TNC Predator. The latter team eventually bought him and built a team-centered around captain Kim “Febby” Yong-min. However, despite the promising lineup, this iteration of TNC never produced the results the organization hoped to see.

TNC Predator Will Not Give Up

TNC Predator is now looking to make up for its previous underwhelming campaign and is seeking to create a robust team of professional athletes who can play at the highest level. Because of that, the organization is stalling its decision about which two players will fill in the vacant spots left after TNC parted ways with X1aOyU and PlayHard.

TNC Predator will likely look for members who can keep up with the team and play in synchrony with the rest of the roster. As of now, TNC Predator’s team is comprised of the following athletes:

  • Levi “YoungGod” Lagaret
  • Yuri “Yowe” Dave Pacaña
  • Kim “Febby” Yong-min

TNC Predator is a team that seeks to carve its name in Dota 2 history. As such, TNC is never satisfied with anything less than good results. In July, the team took a break from esports after failing to qualify for The International 10. Instead of continuing to struggle, the team decided that the best course of action would be waiting for the 2022 season and starting anew. Removing PlayHard and X1aOyU from the team is just another step as TNC seeks perfection.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
