  • Miracle- spent the last year on Nigma’s inactive roster due to health issues
  • The organization still needs to find two more players to complete its roster

Following the departure of four players recently, Nigma Galaxy is rebuilding its Dota 2 roster by re-acquiring some of its previous tried and tested members.

SumaiL Rejoins Nigma

Next year is swiftly approaching and with that is the 2024 competitive Dota 2 season. With this being the case, esports organizations around the globe are busy finalizing their revamped rosters. However, for one organization, rearranging their lineup actually means bringing aboard some old and well-known players.

Nigma Galaxy is currently undergoing a huge roster rebuild. However, instead of signing many new players, the organization has re-acquired Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan, a venerable player who was part of the lineup up until last month when he joined Team Aster as a loaned player. With this signing, Nigma fills in the solo lamer gap left by the departure of Kasra “Mikey” Mesbah.

Fans of the Dota 2 team know the 24-year-old player quite well as he was instrumental for some of the organization’s greatest recent successes. During SumaiL’s previous run with Nigma Galaxy, the squad won DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division II 2022, and secured a 5th-6th standing at the Riyadh Masters 2022. However, the player was eventually loaned to Team Aster for the rest of the competitive 2023 season after Nigma Galaxy had a somewhat disappointing run at the DreamLeague 19.

Miracle- Also Returns

Despite SumaiL returning to the team, Nigma Galaxy still has a lot to do before they have a fully equipped roster. Because of this, they have also called upon yet another well-known player – Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, bringing the team’s total current number up to three, alongside SumaiL and Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi.

Miracle- has been on Nigma’s inactive roster since December last year after he was moved to it due to some health issues. However, over the past few days, many fans started theorizing he might return to active duty, basing their speculations on the 27-year-old player’s recent activities in-game where he has been practicing carry heroes.

With the return of these two players to the active roster, the organization needs to find two more to be prepared for the upcoming season. However, it would be a challenge to fill the gap left by the likes of MinD_ContRoL who left Nigma just a couple of days ago. He spent more than four years on the team, sharing all of its ups and downs, so his departure will be felt quite a lot by both the organization and the fans.

For now, however, Nigma Galaxy’s Dota 2 roster looks like this:

  • Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi
  • Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan
  • Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi
