In a spectacular show of stamina, Russian pro Dota 2 player Gleb “depressed kid” Zyryanov streamed for over 30 hours without a break.

Kid Does a 30-hour Streaming Marathon

Streamers doing long broadcasts lasting a whole day is nothing new, but it is still very rare to see someone play a game for 30 hours straight. This is exactly what 17-year-old Russian professional Dota 2 player Gleb “depressed kid” Zyryanov recently did. He live-streamed for a whole 30 hours on Twitch, playing 41 games over that period.

Depressed kid’s marathon lasted over 30 hours, starting late on February 13 and ending on February 15, with the young pro not taking any extended breaks at all. He managed to win just 13 of the 41 games he played during that period, ending up losing about 450 MMR. Nevertheless, the player showed incredible stamina during the whole livestream.

The midlaner, currently playing for the Eastern European team CIS Rejects, after his previous team Empire went inactive, showed off his skills playing various heroes, including Queen of Pain, Leshrac, Magnus, Shadow Fiend, and Invoker. Depressed kid’s longest game lasted nearly 62 minutes on Invoker, while his shortest was only 14 minutes on Morphling.

Interestingly enough, according to Dotabuff, depressed kid played two more games after turning off his stream, meaning the young pro played a whopping 43 total games without taking any substantial breaks.

Kid’s Teammates Respond to His Achievement

Depressed kid’s crazy actions did not go unnoticed. His organization, the CIS Rejects, tweeted out towards kid’s 30-hour marathon, saying the player has not even taken a break. The organization urged its fans to go over to depressed kid’s livestream and convince him to go get some sleep.

On a funnier note, Artsiom “Fng” Barshak, one of depressed kid’s teammates said on Twitter he was able to sleep twice during the time the midlaner was streaming. Meanwhile, former NAVI player Andrii “ALWAYSWANNAFLY” Bondarenko explained why kid played so many games. His team lost some online matches recently and kid did not play his best.

Depressed kid was recently helping his team the CIS Rejects secure a Division 1 slot in Tour 2 of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22. Despite his young age, kid plays alongside some of the most prolific players in his region like Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosian, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, and Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov.
