  • The 19-year-old player has already been with the organization for almost three years
  • He was instrumental in MOUZ’s winning the ESL Pro League Season 18 in October
  • All of the org’s other permanent players have also extended their contracts

Israeli CS2 pro Dorian “xertioN” Berman stated the quality of MOUZ’s players is one of the main reasons he decided to stay.

MOUZ Announce xertioN’s Contract Extinction

It is smart from the side of an esports organization to keep and develop promising players as if they perform well, they would pay off the investment multiple times. MOUZ seems to think that of Dorian “xertioN” Berman as the organization has offered the 19-year-old player a multiyear deal, which he accepted.

The Israeli CS2 pro now re-signs his contract and will play as part of the Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek-led roster for the foreseeable future. He first joined MOUZ in June of 2021, when he was recruited to play for the organization’s academy team, where he spent 15 months before being promoted to the main team.

Since then, xertioN has proven himself to be an integral part of the team. In October of last year, he was instrumental in helping MOUZ win the ESL Pro League Season 18. In part due to this, he was voted the third-best opener of 2023 behind Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and Håvard “rain” Nygaard.

Almost All Players Have Extended

XertioN explained that there are many reasons why he decided to extend his contract with the German organization, chief among which seems to be the players themselves. “I think the biggest one is definitely the team. I feel very comfortable with my teammates, my captain, siuhy, and the system in MOUZ in general,” the player explained.

“I just really enjoy being around everyone that we have in MOUZ. The organization has been treating me well for the last two and a half years and it’s all been going very well. I am happy to be here.”

MOUZ’s Chief Business Development Officer Jan Dominicus has said that the organization’s current permanent players and staff have all agreed to long-term deals. This was led by IGL siuhy extending his contract late last year and setting an example for the rest of the team. This means that we will be seeing a lot more of the current roster, which is:

  • Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek
  • Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo
  • Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás
  • Dorian “xertioN” Berman
  • Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen (coach)

Swedish player Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin is missing from this list as he is currently on loan from Ninjas in Pyjamas and MOUZ have yet to reveal what they plan for him.

MOUZ most recently won the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR B, qualifying for the main event. With the recent string of successes and a solid roister, the organization is definitely one to watch out for in this year’s competitive Counter-Strike scene.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
