  • The player left PARIVISION’s main roster, leaving the team with four members
  • The squad has not been performing well since its inception last year
  • Jerry said the benching was his decision due to being burnt out

PARIVISION will be looking for a new in-game leader as Andrey “Jerry” Mekhryakov will be taking a break from competitive CS2.

Jerry Leaves PARIVISION’s Starting Lineup

Playing at a high level often requires a lot of time and energy spent training and competitions themselves can be highly stressful. Burnout is a common reason why many esports players take breaks from competition. It seems that this is the reason why Andrey “Jerry” Mekhryakov was benched from PARIVISION’s starting CS2 lineup.

The organization said the player, who has been with the team since the beginning, will be taking a step back from competitive CS2. PARIVISION thanked Jerry for everything he has done for the org and pointed it will be looking for a new player to complete its roster.

It’s been a tough time for PARIVISION in recent months and Jerry doesn’t seem to have been able to help them. The former FORZE in-game leader could not take his teammates out of the lower rungs of competition since the team’s inception in September 2023. PARIVISION has recorded multiple low placements in online tournaments and at their best they reached the peak of 46th place in the world ranking before falling to the 68th spot.

The Player Talks About the Situation

Not long after PARIVISION announced the benching of Jerry, the player went on his social media to talk about what happened. He was eager to point out that this was his decision and not the organization’s. “It was a mutual agreement, so a special thanks to PARI for this,” he said, thanking the team for everything so far.

Jerry then proceeded to explain his reasoning for why he decided to take a step back from professional Counter-Strike, at least for a time. “Regarding me, I’m burnt out. I could no longer bring the impact that I can,” the player said. “I could not play the way I can play, and realized that the guys need a breath of fresh air, so I will take a few steps back to be fresh on my return. In the meantime, I will be streaming and doing more media activity. Stay tuned, don’t go anywhere.”

With the last changes in effect, PARIVISION’s roster looks like this:

  • Artem “ArtFr0st” Kharitonov
  • Andrey “BELCHONOKK” Yasinskiy
  • Robert “Patsi” Isyanov
  • Alexey “Qikert” Golubev
  • Andrey “Jerry” Mekhryakov (benched)

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
