After a short hiatus from the game, Mathias “MLS” Lauridsen is back to introduce his team playing under the tag of “South.”

Denmark’s MLS Has Put Together New CS:GO Team

Counter-Strike is thriving in Denmark, and Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen, a prominent figure in the community, is now putting together a squad. “South,” as the unsigned team is referred to features some excellent players, including Philip “aizy?” AistrupJesper “TENZKI” PlougmannFrederik. “Fessor” Sørensen, and AWPer Jakob “JUGi” Hansen.

All players have a proven track record and have played for numerous outfits, including Complexity Gaming and North. The announcement didn’t come entirely as a surprise – previously, MLS did mention that he would look into creating his own team rather than looking up for an organization to sign him up.

The team will first try their hand at the Funspark ULTI Regional Series qualifier event today and hope to start building their legacy together. One small hiccup, though, could be the fact that most of these players have been on a break from the game.

However, they seem keen to come back and compete at the highest tier. Naturally, they will have to start at less notable places. Their track record has been pretty much empty all throughout 2021, which means that most organizations that would be willing to sign the players would first need to see some results.

The good news is that Europe has a thriving community when it comes to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. So much, in fact, that South should have no issue competing and training against some impressive squads.

All they need is a few good results to back their claim that they can compete on the highest level.

From our 5 star review…

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
