FaZe Won the ESL Pro League Season 15

FaZe Clan’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad has solidified its reputation as one of the best teams in the game by winning the ESL Pro League Season 15. This adds another victory to FaZe’s long list of successful championships.

The team that stood against FaZe at the very finals was ENCE. While the game ended up with a 3:1 result in FaZe’s favor, their opponents fought valiantly and managed to deal an upset to the top team.

At the end of the day, FaZe won the match and took $190,000 back home. Most importantly, the team’s victory helped it secure a place at the BLAST Premier World Final 2022. ENCE, on the other hand, placed second and took $90,000.

ENCE Didn’t Go Down Easily

The first game was on Vertigo. FaZe Clan immediately took the lead thanks to a spectacular performance by its rifler Håvard “rain” Nygaard. By the end of the map, rain had defeated 27 of FaZe’s opponents and had fallen only 17 times. He played a crucial part in the team’s eventual victory.

The second map, Overpass, saw ENCE buckle up and stand strong against its fearsome opponents. Faze Clan did everything in its power to stop ENCE but the latter team surpassed the eventual champions, winning the map with a 19-17 result. This was in huge part thanks to ENCE’s Polish AWP powerhouse, Aleksander “hades” Miskiewicz, whose name has become somewhat synonymous with Overpass clutches.

The third map saw FaZe and ENCE face off on Mirage. ENCE managed to keep some of its momentum and win a few rounds. However, the difference in experience soon became too much for ENCE to deal with and FaZe overturned the game and won the map.

The last map of the grand final was Dust 2. Although ENCE did a strong push in its efforts to secure a second victory, FaZe Clan didn’t allow its opponents to deal it another upset. FaZe countered all of ENCE’s offensive efforts, winning the map and by extension – the tournament.

Despite getting defeated, ENCE went down valiantly, which got Lotan “Spinx” Giladi named the most valuable player of the ESL Pro League Season 15.

ENCE will have a chance to avenge its loss at the upcoming Regional Major Ranking for the PGL Antwerp Major. The tournament begins on April 17.
