  • Challengermode will be hosting three open qualifiers, culminating with a closed qualifier between the three winners
  • A single team will take the spot for the BLAST Showdown
  • The first qualifier begins on March 7

Counter-Strike teams will be getting several competitive events where only the best of the best will continue on the way to the top league tournaments.

Challengermode Announces a Series of Qualifiers

Some are considering the CS:GO community to be waning with all the players transferring to other esports. However that can’t be further from the truth. The competition is as high as ever and it’s about to get even more heated in North America where Challengermode will be hosting several qualifiers for the upcoming BLAST Premier Series.

The winner gets to move on to BLAST Spring Showdown.  The struggle for the top spots in the upcoming chain of events beings this Sunday.

The form will be as follows: Three open qualifiers will be hosted and each one will be on a single-elimination bracket principle. Then the three winners of each one will proceed to stand against one another in an intense closed qualifier.

After all these events only one team will proceed to the BLAST Showdown as there is but a single spot reserved. Therefore we can expect some thrilling matches.

What Comes Next?

The BLAST Spring Showdown that comes afterwards will be a single-elimination tournament. Sixteen teams will face off against one another. Some come from regional qualifiers, such as the one hosted by Challengermode and others have been invited to the event. Team Liquid is already one of the confirmed participants thus we won’t be seeing them during the closed qualifier. Other announced teams are MIBR, OG, Vitality and Astralis.

The two teams taking the top spots at the Showdown will carry on to the Spring Finals in June. Evil Geniuses have already secured their spot there so we won’t be seeing them at the qualifiers either. Other qualified participants are Na’Vi, Complexity, FaZe Clan, BIG and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
