New State Mobile is finally organizing its first official tournament in North America, five months after its release.
New State Mobile Hosting first NA Series
Following its successful launch last year, Krafton recently announced the New State Mobile Mashup. The tournament will be aimed towards highly-skilled amateur players “who are looking to put a squad together to claim the ultimate bragging rights in North America!”
The event will be a four-week-long affair and will build on the previous Open Challenge. Krafton says it will provide many opportunities for players to participate in the series. These include Influencer-Hosted Tournaments and Open Qualifiers.
The competitions will be held in NEW STATE MOBILE’s new BR: Extreme Mode on the game’s Troi map. Eligible teams will have a chance to compete for their share of the $250,000 prize pool and qualify for the Grand Final which will be held on April 1-3.
What Will the Event Feature?
One of the heavily advertised features of the event will be an Influencer-hosted tournament. Popular members of the community like ChocoTaco, Wynnsanity, and NoahfromYoutube will each host a weekly qualifier tournament as part of the series. The winners of each of these tournaments will qualify for the Grand Final in April. Additionally, each of the tournaments will feature a prize pool of $5 000.

- Wynnsanity – March 10
- chocoTaco – March 17
- NoahFromYoutube – March 24
The New State Mobile Mashup will also have a set of Open Qualifiers. Each of these will feature a prize pool of $10,000 and take place over three days. Each Qualifier has slots for 128 teams, with the three top teams of each Qualifier will directly advance to the Grand Final.
Here are the dates for the Open Qualifiers:
- March 11 – 13
- March 18 – 20
- March 25 – 27
The Grand Final of the series, taking place between April 1 and 3, will feature the 16 teams that qualified from the previously mentioned events. It will have a prize pool of $250 000 in addition to a $5,000 bonus for the tournament’s overall MVP. The three teams that qualified through the Influencer-hosted tournaments and the nine teams that qualified through the Open Qualifiers will be joined by four wildcard teams. The details of how these are chosen will be revealed at a later date.
