  • Brazilian Immortals-owned esports organization MIBR has hired Roberta Coelho as its new chief executive
  • Coelho has experience in the industry and the position of a CEO and will be a valuable asset for the brand’s growth
  • The appointment is a part of Immortals Gaming Club’s “comprehensive corporate reorganization”

Immortals Gaming Club has hired industry professional entrepreneur Roberta Coelho to lead its Made in Brazil esports brand.

Roberta Coelho Becomes MIBR’s Chief Executive

Entrepreneur Roberta Coelho will be stepping in the shoes of a CEO at the Brazil-based esports organization Made in Brazil (MIBR). This is the first time the organization will have a full-time CEO.

Coelho quickly threw herself at work and devised an advisory board that will guide the organization’s decisions. The board includes several big names, namely MIBR’s founder Paulo Velloso and Gamers Club’s chief executive Yuri Uchiyama.

Coelho isn’t a random choice and has profound experience both in the gaming industry and as a CEO. Prior to joining MIBR, she has worked as the CEO of Game XP, the company behind the Brazilian women’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league “Grrrls League”.

“I am elated to take a lead in helping the brand grow and reach its potential by expanding further into esports and creating meaningful experiences for our fans and followers. MIBR is and will continue to be a high-performance team,” Coehlo spoke about her new role.

Immortals’ Inner Restructuring

The appointment of Coelho is part of a big inner restructuring from MIBR’s parent company, Immortals Gaming Club. The esports company is seeking to establish a strong lead for each of its several brands. Other than MIBR, Immortals’ brands include Gamers Club and Los Angeles Valiant.

Immortals Gaming Club describes the current period as one of a “comprehensive corporate reorganization”. The esports company hopes to reorganize its human resources and continue its expansion on the market.

Immortals Gaming Club’s brands are all profitable, according to the company itself and with this in mind, it’s seeking further opportunities and ways to optimize its efficiency.

Coelho is the only newly-hired member in the team but there have been other inner changes of positions as well. Among those changes is Ari Segal, Immortals Gaming Club’s CEO’s switch to a co-managing director and the club’s president, Jordan Sherman, becoming the chief executive of the team. Segal will share the responsibilities of a managing director with Tomi Kovanen, who is also the executive vice-chairman of the MIBR, Immortals and Gamers Club.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
