With Bleed completing its Dota 2 lineup with Natthaphon “Masaros” Ouanphakdee and Tommy “Taiga” Le, the organization is ready to tackle the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023: SEA Qualifiers.
Bleed Signs Two New Players
Over the past few weeks, Singaporean esports organization Bleed has been restructuring its Dota 2 roster and yesterday this came to a finish with the announcement of the signing of Natthaphon “Masaros” Ouanphakdee and Tommy “Taiga” Le. The two players complete the team’s composition, which will be tested at the upcoming ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023: SEA Qualifiers.
For Masaros, the deal signals a return to an already well-known to him organization. The 26-year-old player had helped Bleed win the M. Invitational 2023 earlier this year but later joined Team SMG in May. However, despite he performed decently well individually in the organization, SMG did not achieve much over the past few months, which likely played a big role in Masaros returning to Bleed.
Meanwhile, for Taiga it would be the first time playing for a Southeast Asian team. Despite that, he would bring years of experience to Bleed, as he started his career in professional Dota 2 way back in 2017. Over the years, he has been a part of several world-famous teams, including Team Liquid and OG. However, in early October Taiga left OG’s Dota 2 roster alongside Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin and has since had somewhat mediocre results while playing for other smaller organizations. Hopefully, the move to Bleed would bring a much-needed positive change for him.
Both of Bleed’s newest additions will debut alongside their new teammates at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023: Southeast Asia Qualifiers to which the organization earned a direct invite. This would be quite the challenge for the newcomers, as the event is shaping up to have some formidable opponents. If Bleed survives the qualifier, they will go to the main event, which will be held from December 11 to 17 in the Malaysian capital. Considering its $1 million prize pool and the list of teams that are already invited to the ESL Kuala Lumpur, the event is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated in the Dota 2 community.
Bleed Esports will go up against Blacklist International today in its opening match of the Closed Qualifiers and will field the following lineup:
- Souliya “JaCkky” Khoomphetsavong
- Teng “Kordan” Tjin Yao
- Natthaphon “Masaros” Ouanphakdee
- Djardel “DJ” Mampusti
- Tommy “Taiga” Le
