Luckbox is preparing to enter the regulated betting market in Canada as the organization became a member of the Canadian Gaming Association.
Canadian Gaming Association Welcomes Luckbox
Luckbox has marked another milestone by joining the Canadian Gaming Association (CGA) as a full member. One of the leading esports betting organizations finalized its membership application in February, under Luckbox CEO Martin Quentin’s leadership.
Speaking in a statement to the press, Quentin talked about CGA’s critical role in upholding industry standards that are fair to all stakeholders.
Martin argued that as Canada draws closer to legalizing single-event betting, Luckbox was prepared to give esports fans in Canada clear-cut access to a safe place where they can place bets on their favorite teams moving forward.
“We know that esports is a large and growing market in Canada, and fans are demanding betting on matches,” Quentin added. Luckbox has a lot to bring to the table, the chief executive noted, citing its successful track record and award-winning solution.
Luckbox Brings a Proven Track Record of Compliance
In addition, Luckbox has 13 esports markets that cover some of the biggest games in the industry. Through its membership in CGA, Luckbox can contribute to consumers’ safety and create a well-rounded experience for esports fans.
The sentiment was shared by CGA President and CEO Paul Burns who said that the organization was thrilled to be welcoming Luckbox as a member. Luckbox has a demonstrated track record for operating in regulated markets, making them a valuable asset to Canada’s burgeoning gaming landscape, Burns explained.
“We look forward to working together and to assisting the growth of this new segment in any way we can,” he concluded. Recently, Luckbox gave a boost to its content strategy by bringing esports veteran Nevzat Ucar at the helm.
