TOP Esports is going to play Edward Gaming for what both teams see as an opportunity to improve their performance. TES Esports has posted some decent results of late and Edward Gaming has had hit a bit of a snag against Victory 5 who defeated them 2-0. Now, both teams are going to try and inch up the ladder board in LPL Spring Split 2022. Understandably, only one will, but so far as actual results go, we will see a series that most likely goes the distance.

TES Betting Preview (Feb 26, 2022)

TES has been doing well of late and they have succeeded in taking out FunPlus Phoenix earlier this week. Now, TES has to play one of its biggest challenges in the league taking on the third-seeded team and seeing what they can do to stop them from securing another victorious series.

TES is currently sitting at a 56% win rate and they have won 11 out of 23 games played. We believe this metric is important as it shows the team’s capacity for responding to even the toughest situations. Fans have come to appreciate TES for their fighting spirit and immense capacity for performing well under pressure, a quality that is important to many.

Taking on EDG and the success therefore will be predicated on a deeper understanding of EDG’s weaknesses, and a few chinks in Edward Gaming’s armor have already begun to show.

Edward Gaming Betting Preview (Feb 26, 2022)

SO, where is Edward Gaming today? That is a good question. The team is not quite out of the woods yet as they have suffered several defeats at the hands of Weibo and Victory 5, meaning that they lost to the two best teams in the LPL Spring Split (after holding the title themselves in most of the first weeks of play).

The worst is sort of off for Edward as they have played what is now clearly the two best teams there. However, there is still more to consider in how the situation should be addressed. Edward is still five out of seven series and their win rate sits at a solid 78%. They have only lost five out of the 19 games they have played – the low number sends a clear message that the team is more than capable of sealing series quickly.
