  • Assassins will only have their Legendaries changed
  • Items for mages, tanks, and fighters will receive numerous small adjustments
  • The update will certainly shake up the game’s meta significantly

League of Legends Patch 13.10 is just around the corner, and it looks like the update will be centered around changes hitting numerous Mythic and Legendary items.

Next Update Will See Many Changes

Next week will see the release of League of Legends’ next big update, and as it has become customary, Riot Games lead game designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison shared a lot of information about the incoming changes. Assassin mains might want to pay a lot of attention, as a number of Mythic items will be receiving large adjustments.

AD carry and support mains will also have to get ready for a revamp, as their Mythics and Legendaries have found themselves on the list. However, Phroxzon has not yet revealed in detail what exactly these changes are going to look like, but he, or other Riot staff, will likely do so in the following days. Despite assassins receiving the biggest changes to their Mythic items, their Legendary items will not be touched. This is not like the other two roles, which will have both types of items receive adjustments in the next patch.

On the other hand, it looks like the next LoL will not bring many changes for mages, tanks, and fighters, since their items will receive only small adjustments. mage Legendaries and their components will be updated, with only tank Legendaries being tweaked. Out of the three classes fighter champions will be impacted the most when the next patch drops because both their Mythics and Legendaries are on the list that Phroxzon shared.

Considering there are so many items that are bout to be changed in LoL’s Patch 13.10, the next update will have a huge impact on the game’s meta and it’s still hard to predict how this will unfold. Phroxzon wrote that the dev team will watch closely how players feel about this rate of change, explaining that Riot made such a big update because it wants to keep the game fresh and “solve several player painpoints and to add some exciting content”.

It’s safe to say that the next LoL patch will shake up the game’s meta quite a lot. The last time the game was changed so much was when Patch 13.7 nerfed ten meta champions when it was launched a month ago.

The next League of Legends update will be released next week on May 17.
