  • Amumu, Kindred, Lissandra, Lux, and Ezreal will have new Porcelain themed outfits soon
  • Lux will have an additional Prestige skin, and Ezreal’s new look is a collaboration with a music artist
  • Riot has not announced a release date but teased fans with splash arts

Riot is starting the new year teasing fans by releasing splash arts for upcoming Porcelain League skins for five of its champions.

Finesse Comes to the Summoner’s Rift

As 2022 starts, Riot Games announce new skins for Amumu, Kindred, Lissandra, Lux, and Ezreal with the theme Porcelain. It is important to note that there will in fact be six, not five new skins released because Lux will be getting an additional Prestige Edition version of her upcoming Porcelain skin. She will be the first champion to receive a Prestige in 2022, and just the second one in the overall roster to get a second one. Prestige Points were introduced back in 2019, so Prestige skins are still quite the rarity. The same year Prestige Points were implemented, Lux received her first Prestige skin, which was tied to her Battle Academia skin.

Another thing to note is that Ezreal’s skin will have a slightly different name: Porcelain Protector Ezreal. The reason behind the unique naming is that Riot is collaborating with a musical artist with the recall of this skin. “Also check out our collab with artist Jay Chou in Porcelain Protector Ezreal’s dance where you can hear snippets of his song ‘Blue and White Porcelain’,” wrote Riot when they teased the new skins on Twitter. The song can be heard when Ezreal dances when equipped with the new outfit.

What Else Do We Currently Know?

As it’s perhaps obvious, the champion’s new outfits will feature elements from tea sets and fine dinnerware. The blue and gold details on the white main background look sharp and crisp, without being way too flashy. The champions will also have animal companions with the same designs, with the splash arts showing snakes, fish, tigers all fighting alongside their porcelain owners.

This set of skins will tie in well with the Chinese New Year, along with the new Firecracker sets, which are also soon coming. Perhaps Riot is giving more attention to the growing Chinese gaming market.

So far players still don’t know how much the skins will cost. For now, Riot has only revealed splash arts, but it’s safe to assume each skin will cost 1350 RP unless there are any legendary skins, which usually go for 1820 RP.

It’s not yet been announced when the new skins will arrive, but it may be with LoL Patch 12.02, which might also introduce the new champion Zeri.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
