FPX are posted as the favorites – yet they come on the back of a two-series loss. The team suffered defeat the hands of Edward Gaming who overcame them flawlessly in 2-0 and even Top Esports earlier in Week 6. Rare Atom are their chance to bounce and break away from this downward trend.
Looking at the raw numbers, FPX have won half of their games – 12 out of 24 which is a good indicator of the team’s future success and chances to inch up the pecking order. However, they would have to play better than they did in their last two games in order to overcome Rare Atom who defeated Royal Never Give Up earlier in Week 6 but surprisingly.

Rare Atom are coming on the tail of three-series win with their most recent triumph raising hopes that the team will end up performing well in the upcoming game as well. Tackling the #5 seed may have been a fluke, but Rare Atom seems to have had too much of it recently.
Granted, they defeated ThunderTalk and LGD, two teams that are arguably the lower seed. Yet, the fact that RA kept their game on and defeated all three teams.
