  • Hanwha Life managed to defeat the #3 best team in the LCK Spring Split
  • KT Rolster won against Freecs but they lost to DWG KIA without putting any resistance
  • The odds are really good on the underdogs and we believe Hanwha can do well in the Thursday series

Hanwha Life have had a mostly middling performance so far in the 2022 LCK Spring Split. They are also posted as the underdog at (2.65) against their opponents from KT Rolster on Thursday. While Rolster have the better odds at (1.37) it’s still difficult to imagine Hanwha Life going without a fight. In fact, we will argue that Hanwha may actually have it in them to inch up the food chain, leaving KT behind. Is that true, though?

KT Rolster vs Hanwha Life Odds – January 20, 2022

KT Rolster Preview (Jan 20, 2022)

KT Rolster were once feared as the most formidable team in the LCK. Today, they are doing much worse.  We believe KT Rolster have little to show for so far this season. Odds of (1.37) are aligned with the overall reputation of the team, but do they adequately reflect current events?

Sure, Rolster won over Freecs, but then again, Freecs are winless so far into the LCK. They fell to Damwon in the opening game, though, and couldn’t secure a single win. All of this shows that while Rolster are a legacy team and organization, they are not in a place that allows them to project much strength.

Rolster are not exactly afraid of Hanwha though so they would definitely be putting up a fight, but not enough in our opinion to really upset the outcome which will be 2-1 for Hanwha.

Hanwha Life Preview (Jan 20, 2022)

Hanwha Life are ranked last in the LCK power rankings by most League of Legends fans out there, but we are pretty confident that they are much better than given credit for. Let’s start with the obvious. Hanwha have done similarly to 80% of the teams, and especially those in the upper percentile. They are only clearly behind T1 and Gen.G but each other team out there is a fair game.

They pried away a win against RedForce, who are ranked #3 in the LCK, which show you that the current pecking order is really not much to go on. More importantly, Hanwha have not lost a single series without putting up a fight and this is what makes us confident in pronouncing them as the favorites for this upcoming game.
