- Hanwha Life went from the bottom-feeders of the LCK in 2021 to the top team in 2022
- We have only seen one game, but they are already showing a great promise in the new season
- Fredit BRION performed poorly last year and they have made no discernible changes to their roster
Hanwha Life will be taking on Fredit BRION who haven’t had a chance to play a single game in the LCK this season. Well, this is about to change and with Hanwha Life proving quite powerful in the opener game, we are about to witness an interesting game. Hanwha demonstrated a solid pace of play against RedForce, but things are only getting started and BRION are virtually on par with Life until we see them play.

Hanwha Life Preview (Jan 16, 2022)
After the game we witnessed earlier this week, it’s easy to want to want to bet on Hanwha Life. If anything, they have demonstrated impeccable play against a fairly strong opponent. Don’t forget that RedForce ended up #3 in the 2021 LCK Summer Split whereas Hanwha were ranking just #8. This should matter, especially if you are looking to take historic data in account.
While Hanwha have been at the bottom of the pecking order last season, they managed to climb to the top of this season. Well, it’s been only one game, but that’s a start. We believe that this revamped roster will be bringing home a lot of great results. At odds of Hanwha Life to win (1.74) we believe this is great value.
First off, Life did formidably against RedForce and secondly, we saw valid reasons why moving Hanwha up the overall power rankings would make sense. You may still need to wait until Saturday to see for yourself.
Fredit BRION Preview (Jan 16, 2022)
Could we be wrong about Fredit? Of course, we could! But here are a few helpful pointers that may dissipate any doubt. Let’s take it from the top. Fredit BRION were at the very bottom of the last Summer Split, and they have not enacted any roster changes. It’s commendable that the team believes they can do much better and we want this to be the case.
You know that we always try to find an angle and back the underdog (which is not the most reasonable thing to do). However, given the odds here, we have every reason to believe that BRION are going to start at a disadvantage. Their only new player is Morgan who joined in November 2021 and will be a sub/top player.
