WePlay Esports and Esports Charts Extend Partnership through 2022

in Industry
December 16, 2021
  • WePlay Esports and Esports Charts will continue working together through 2022
  • The original partnership started back in 2019 and has been a steppingstone for both companies
  • Esports audiences will continue benefiting from captivating and worthwhile insights

WePlay Esports and Esports Charts continue on their successful journey together to bring more actionable insights to audiences through 2022.

More Insights for Esports Audiences

WePlay Esports is building upon its relationship with Esports Charts, a premier aggregator of data from esports events. Through an expansion of the companies’ existing partnership, the pair is looking to enhance the esports viewing experience. WePlay, an established host of esports events, will be able to leverage Esports Charts’ comprehensive data in real-time to achieve this milestone.

The renewed partnership will now extend through 2022 and bring on in-depth analytics to viewers’ screens. WePlay and Esports Charts will pool their efforts to deliver on joint content development initiatives that will ultimately benefit gaming fans who are tuning in for the best esports experience possible.

The pair first collaborated back in 2019, so that Esports Charts was offering various technical solutions to WePlay’s tournaments, including the Dota 2 AniMajor and some of the most recent initiatives, such as the WePlay Academy League, targeting grassroots Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players from established franchises.

WePlay Esports head of product Rostyslav Salata offered some insight on what the companies expect from the present partnership. In short, Salata wants the companies to move towards two individual pivots.

The first one is to create a new way of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. This process would focus on esports at first, but it would expand to any digital sports in general.  The second one is just as technical and beneficial to the competitive gaming ecosystem“:

“The second direction is the creation of technological products for a global audience of content creators and distributors. We are glad to be working to achieve these goals together with Esports Char”s.”

Where Esports Go, Esports Charts Follows

Esports Charts has established itself as an indelible part of the esports identity, bringing actionable data and information about individual events, team performances, and players. Esports Charts CEO Artyom Odintsov welcomed the partnership and the extension, pointing out the clear benefits it has had for the company and the community as a whole“:

“Our partnership with WePlay Holding during the WePlay AniMajor live streams has helped develop a competitive spirit not only among the players but also among the viewers. Esports Charts does not stop there and continues to help organizers achieve their business goa”s.”

Esports Charts has been a big part of video gaming. The company teamed up with EsportsBets, an affiliate website that focuses on esports betting, and Flashpoint, an established CS:GO, league.
