Tribe Gaming and Ford Join Forces
American professional mobile gaming esports organization Tribe Gaming has signed a new sponsorship deal with the American automobile manufacturer Ford. The deal will see Ford as the esports org’s exclusive automotive sponsor.
The deal will see Tribe Gaming and Ford collaborate on various activations. Tribe will produce a series of content that will feature some of its top creators and Ford automobiles. Tribe Gaming is known to field some of the strongest mobile gaming personalities across the whole of North America, including Ferg, Molt and OJ, making the upcoming content especially exciting to mobile esports connoisseurs. The deal with Ford will help the organization’s content creators explore and build deeper connections with their largest geographic communities.
The agreement will also include segments that feature the life stories of the leading local mobile esports players. Tribe Gaming currently has teams in most of the leading mobile esports titles, including Brawl Stars, Call of Duty Mobile, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale and League of Legends: Wild Rift.
Earlier this year, Tribe collaborated with the critically-acclaimed peripherals brand Razer.
The Deal Will Boost Both Brands’ Renown
Tribe Gaming’s chief executive officer and founder, Patrick Carney, spoke about the deal with Ford.
“Joining forces with Ford can’t be understated—it’s one of the biggest moments in the history of Tribe Gaming,” he said.
Carney pointed out that Ford has been a leader when it comes to innovation in the automotive sector for over a century. Therefore, he is delighted to be able to “drive forward” the future of mobile alongside Ford.
“They are a dream partner for pushing limits on one of the fastest-growing platforms in gaming,” Carney concluded.
Ford’s side of the deal will see the automobile manufacturer provide Tribe Gaming with automobiles bearing the organization’s logo.
The car company sees the deal as the perfect opportunity to grow its popularity among the younger people. Ford’s chief marketing officer, Suzy Deering, spoke on that:
“Tribe is the perfect sponsor to help introduce Ford to their millions of 18–35-year-old followers, showing them how we can meet their needs, both on the road and off the field,” she explained.
