Globally recognized esports team Ninjas in Pyjamas announced a five-year partnership with the public blockchain Zilliqa. Under the collaboration, NIP will promote the logo of the blockchain via their jerseys. Additionally, the collaboration will see the duo focus on creating innovative tokenized experiences and elevating fan engagement.
NIP Teams up with Public Blockchain Zilliqa
Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), the Swedish esports organization announced on Monday that it inked a new partnership deal with the leading high-performance public blockchain Zilliqa. NIP acknowledged that Zilliqa is already a well-established blockchain that offers incredible scalability and security for its users.
Under the five-year collaboration, the duo will focus on “creating state-of-the-art tokenized virtual experiences.” NIP explained that teaming up with Zilliqa, will aim at enhancing player engagement and connect fans around the world. The collaboration will see Zilliqa as the official blockchain partner for the Swedish team. This mutually beneficial partnership will bring Zilliqa's logo on the jerseys of NIP's team. The first time that the team will appear with the logo on their jerseys is during the PGL CS:GO Major starting this month in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Collaboration Will Help Enhance Fan Experiences
Zilliqa's head of growth, Matt Dyer outlined that with the digital and physical worlds merging, no one is left behind. According to him, esports is a great example of this symbiosis. Dyer added that the new collaboration with NIP will undoubtedly “bring new people and more adoption into the crypto-verse.”
