MDR Brand Management Opens a Gaming Business Called NIVO

in Industry
June 28, 2021
  • MDR Brand Management has created a new brand called NIVO Management
  • NIVO Management will work within the gaming ecosystem
  • It will provide players gaming businesses with marketing advice and opportunities

MDR Brand Management has turned its gaze to the growing esports ecosystem. It will be operated under the NIVO Management brand as it provides brand management services to gaming and esports businesses.

NIVO Management: A Management Solution for Gamers

Award-winning global brand management business MDR Brand Management will be expanding to gaming. It will be launching a separate esports and interactive entertainment management business called NIVO Management. NIVO will focus on representing gamers and offering brand advice to aspiring gaming businesses.

NIVO Management’s release was ushered by esports and gaming’s recent growth. As the industry grew, so did the need for management service.

Tom Murray will stand on the top of NIVO and will work together with MDR Brand Management’s CEO Daniel Avener.

In a release, Murray said that he is excited to pioneer the field and become a leading force when it comes to esports management.

“Players have made it clear to us that they want their careers and commercial opportunities to be managed with the same professionalism and integrity as we approach our brand management and legal practices. We are here to deliver that,” Murray proudly announced.

Avener confirmed what Murray said by emphasizing that NIVO Management is created with the players in mind.

“As a management business, as opposed to a traditional agent, we put players at the heart of our strategy. By managing negotiations, unlocking brand potential, and opening up our global network of specialist advisors and brands, we enable players and talent to focus on what they do best,” the CEO said.

Avener believes that NIVO is an important step for MDR Brand Management and is a good opportunity for the company to tap into the growing gaming market.

A Beneficial Addition to the Esports Ecosystem

NIVO Management was quick to reinforce its positions by signing in several popular names in esports, among which Alliance’s Alexandre “xms” Forte and Alex “ALEX” McMeekin, who recently played with Cloud9.

The business will operate with three main sections:

  • Contract negotiations
  • Strategies to ensure sponsorships and endorsements
  • Holistic management support

One of the boons of becoming clients of NIVO Management will be access to MDR Brand Management’s impressive global network of countless brands. MDR Brand Management currently covers 25 countries and has worked together with numerous popular non-gaming brands such as cosmetics brand Revlon, mattresses business Eve Sleep and lifestyle products company Paul Frank.

The establishment of management is crucial for maintaining the growing esports market. Services like those of NIVO Management are important to both startups and established teams and businesses. Other businesses and services have also been created thanks to the esports ecosystem, such as Enlight’s programs that will educate people on the skills necessary to carve a path in the industry.
