- Luckbox signs a new agreement with Aspire Global to bring the latter's tech platform and boost product offer
- The company is transitioning from EveryMatrix's OddsMatrix to Aspire Global's BtoBet
- Luckbox started as a dedicated esports betting website but has made quick strides in the online casino and sports betting space
Esports betting website Luckbox continues to enhance its technological offer through its latest partnership with Aspire Global.
New Lease of Life for Luckbox's Underpinning Platform
Luckbox continues to grow and improve its line of products that now features a little more than just esports betting markets. While the company started as a native esports bookmaker in 2018, it has evolved to be much more, and today this means reaching out to more powerful technical solutions.
As a result, Luckbox will discontinue its partnership with EveryMatrix and the company's OddsMatrix platform and replace it with Aspire Global's BtoBet Neuron platform. Aspire acquired BtoBet in 2020 and has been keen on pushing visibility for it.
Luckbox is counting on BtoBet not just as a platform that will boost its esports betting markets but also help it achieve better visibility and reach in traditional sports betting markets and online casinos.
In a statement outlining the transition to a new platform, Red Luck Group, Luckbox's parent entity, had this to say: “The partnership is a key component of broadening the company's platform and will add casino games to the Luckbox platform as well as BtoBet's comprehensive sportsbook solution, including esports.”
The shift in strategy has been occasioned by a peculiar trend in the sports gambling space. While Luckbox had every attention to remain focused on esports, it gained a lot of exposure to traditional betting audiences in 2020.
Time to Push Past Esports Betting
As a result, the company sought to quickly enter into new markets. Luckbox's new CEO, Thomas Rosander, has expressed his confidence that esports is a profitable market, but under his leadership, the company has been branching out more and more towards traditional sports and iGaming markets.
Rosander commented on BtoBet's technological offer, lauding it for its capabilities and hailing it as a product that would ultimately benefit Luckbox's own product line and help the company establish a more recognizable footprint into its targeted markets.
“The integration of BtoBet's flexible platform is a fundamental part of our growth strategy and the underpinning of the differentiation that will set us apart going forward,” Rosander added.
Aspire Global CEO Tsachi Maimon said that his company was fully committed to Luckbox's success and noted that his colleagues would ensure the smooth transition between platforms, allowing the betting website to expand and improve its scope of operation.
