  • Rumors say the player is rejoining Dignitas after leaving the team late last year
  • This might mean he will play in an all-star roster with Spica and Zven
  • Jensen most recently played for FlyQuest but was removed in favor of another mid-laner

After a mediocre run with Dignitas in 2023, Jensen will allegedly be trying out one more time with the org which is rebuilding its roster

Dignitas to Allegedly Sign Jensen

Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen is without a doubt one of the most recognizable players of the professional North American League of Legends esports scene. He has more than a decade of experience in high-level competitive LoL so naturally this makes him quite the wanted player. As the 2024 LCS Summer Split is approaching fast, the player might find himself playing for Dignitas, if recent rumors turn out to be true.

The information comes from esports journalist Brieuc Seeger, whose sources report that the 29-year-old player will return to the organization’s midlane. If this turns out to be true, then this will mark Jensen’s second stint with Dignitas in the last two years.

The experienced pro is supposedly joining a veteran cast of fan favorites. Dignitas has been reforming its squad recently and some rumors suggest that they have brought aboard multiple stars like Spica and Zven to the new roster.

What Has The Midlaner Been Doing Recently?

The 29-year-old player is coming off of a disappointing end to his short Spring Split tenure with FlyQuest. The team’s best achievement so far in 2024 was a second-place finish at the LCS Spring 2024 in March. Since then, they have been taking Ls, the most recent being an elimination from the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational caused by PSG Talon.

Jensen joined FlyQuest in November of 2023, but before that, he was part of Dignitas, to whom he is returning now. He was with the org 2023, but his skills and experience were not enough to help the team achieve much. Dignitas’ highest achievement was a 5th-6th place finish at the LCS Summer 2023.

Now that Jense is rejoining Dignitas, he will have the opportunity to prove FlyQuest wrong. This is because it was not long ago that the management replaced him with the organization’s rising Challengers mid lane prospect, Quad. Interestingly, Spica will be looking for revenge after being benched by FlyQuest to start off the new year, so Jensen might find a kindred spirit.

Of course, time will tell if this squad of veterans will be able to retake the center stage in the LCS.

“In fact, we would argue that Bitcasino’s esports product is one of the best we have experienced. It’s simple, clear-cut, and offers a variety of products and options that other platforms are failing to deliver on.”
